Farmer's Wife Blocks...

Not a lot of productivity around here the last couple of weeks...we've all been sick with a head cold.  I started it and then promptly passed it to my husband and daughter...We're finally on the mend, but we went through a lot of tissues and cough drops before it was over...it's been miserable...

Enough of that!  I did receive my Kansas Troubles fabrics I had ordered.  Very pretty!

In addition to these fabrics, I found a few at Hancock Fabrics that I thought would work as well for the muddy, muted tones called for by the swap.  So this weekend I did get my blocks for the swap finished.  I signed up for the Churn Dash and the Bow Tie.  I'll send 10 of each of these to the hostess who will swap them all out, and in the long run I will end up with the first 20 of the Farmer's Wife blocks.  Cool, huh?

The fourth clue of the Bee in My Bonnet Row Along came out this past Wednesday, but I haven't had a chance to work on it yet.  The fourth row is APPLES!!!!  They are so cute...

The October block for the Stash Bee was announced for Hive 2.  It's a book shelf.  Such a clever idea...I have cut a few fabrics but have not started sewing yet.  Maybe next weekend.

Here's to a better week than the last...

  2. LOVE your Kansas Troubles fabrics. So pretty. I was eyeing the new FQ bundles at the FQ Shop online, but much too pricey for me at this time.
